I’m Allison, a 3rd year Apparel Design Major at Oregon State University. I’m a detail-oriented womenswear designer who likes to use fashion as a means of storytelling. Whether the story is about the lifestyle of a target consumer or about more abstract, artistic concepts, I like to take inspiration from my experiences and observations of the world around me.

My more technical designs focus on functional utility, but my more conceptual designs focus on abstractly representing things such as music, folklore, natural phenomena, traditional art, etc. as clothing. Regardless of the story I’m telling, I like to experiment with layers, shapes, and/or lines to create interesting silhouettes and pieces I would want to wear myself.
